Easingwold Area Food Bank

7, Sandholme Close, Easingwold, YORK

About

We are a small independent provider of food & toiletry items to those needing temporary support in the wider Easingwold and Villages rural area. We understand what you may be going through and we can help you with confidential and sympathetic support in getting you back on your feet again. Nobody else will know unless you give us permission so please, try not to get embarrassed at contacting us. We are here because we simply want to help you.

As we live in a rural area, we deliver all of our food parcels to you at a time to suit yourselves, and in plain packaging. We can also often obtain other larger essential items that you may need by calling on our many local partners and funding sources - just ask!

We also see part of our role is to provide local information regarding financial and other help to improve your life and also to signpost you to professional support agencies who can help you going forwards - preferably over a cuppa!

Although many of our customers are referred to us by various social services, we do not ask for a voucher or specific referral to help you. We just trust people when they say they need help and that's enough for us.

Contact us by leaving a message on our 24/7 message line 0772 44 44 750 and we promise to get back to you as soon as possible.

Our help, support and services will continue throughout the coronavirus situation because those needing help still need help. With fewer facilities available, we are needed more than ever!

Obviously we are very careful with providing support, while sadly not over a cuppa, we will be there, always at a social distance and with mask protection for you. But provide support we will in any way we can.

Our contact method remains the same - either contact us via our message line, or find and reach out to us on social media.
