Advocacy Alliance is a voluntary organisation, established in 1990 to provide free, independent and confidential advocacy to empower individuals and enable them to have their voice heard. It involves a small team of staff who manage and develop advocacy throughout the area.
Our team is made up of a paid staff, volunteers and trustees.
We are based in Scarborough but cover a wide area across North Yorkshire including Filey, Whitby and Ryedale.
We are open Tuesday to Friday 9 to 5
Fully accessible and home visits

Some services may only be suitable to a specific age range or to those who meet specific criteria. The following eligibility criteria applies to this service:


  • 17-25
  • 25-64
  • 65+
