We are a crown green bowling club in Harrogate North Yorkshire. Our green is classified as an asset of community value. Our vision is to promote the game of crown green bowls, sustain our club into the future and improve the health and wellbeing of our local community. We offer competitive and social bowling opportunities.

We deliver a range of Try Bowls Make Friends events. We provide equipment and coaching. Being part of a bowls club helps people get active, increases social interaction and provides new friendships and support networks. 

Crown green bowls provides low-impact therapeutic exercise, is proven to improve fitness, improves coordination, increases confidence and enhances mental wellbeing, membership of a local club provides opportunities for social interaction and the ability to develop new friendships and support networks via fellow club members. We offer regular Try Bowls for free sessions for individuals, families or groups. Coaching and equipment provided. All that is required in flat souled footwear. We are very interested in arranging sessions for community groups, families or individuals - all are welcome. The green is just of the A59 Skipton Road behind The Swan public house at Devonshire Place, Harrogate.
