Botton Village- Camphill Village Trust

Botton Village, DANBY

About

We support adults with learning and other disabilities to lead a life of opportunity. We encourage and empower them to make informed life choices and contribute to society in a way that brings purpose and meaning

More than 30 houses make up Botton Village. Our village provides a high standard of housing with sturdy farmhouses, purpose-built accommodation, modern barn conversions and houses designed, offering a comfortable and homely atmosphere.

We have our own Village Hall, the Joan of Arc Hall, which provides a high-quality venue for performances, shows and gatherings. There’s a church, a village store, a coffee bar and a post office too.

We have a wide range of workshops and other social-cultural and training activities which provide the opportunity not only for people to contribute to their community but also the potential to develop skills, gain valuable hands-on experience and feel valued and appreciated.

We are working closely with the wider community and have a group of Community Champions, made up of people from Botton and the Esk Valley area who meet to discuss and address local issues.

This service covers the following area(s):
