Harrogate & District Community Action (HADCA)
Harrogate Community House, HARROGATE
HADCA is an independent charity supporting and connecting communities, charities and volunteers to make Harrogate district a great place to live and work. We provide specialist information and resources for charities and community groups and provide opportunities to network and work in partnership to influence local decision making.
The HADCA Where To Turn Directory lists over 800 community services and activities in Harrogate district supporting health and well being.
Our HADCA Volunteering Directory contains opportunities to volunteer with local charities, searchable by activity, location, cause, availability, age and wheelchair access.
HELP is our service supporting people to remain safe and well at home. HELP provides community transport, practical help in the home, a befriending service, social activities and a 'Here to HELP' service by phone and at community venues. (Our face to face social activities and 'Here to HELP' sessions are suspended temporarily due to coronavirus)
HADCA provides office accommodation and fully equipped meeting rooms at Harrogate Community House
