The Forum is a voice for the over 50s in the Harrogate district - influencing policies and services which affect us. The Forum provides conviviality, lively discussion and social events. We have bi-monthly meetings with presentations to discuss issues which are important to the over 50s. Throughout the year we have bi-monthly day trips and each month our lunch club members meet to enjoy the variety of cuisine provided by local restaurants. Our quarterly newsletter 'The Voice' provides information about the activities of the Forum, together with news articles of particular relevance to our members. At present there is no membership fee, but we charge a small admission fee to meetings, which includes refreshments. We generally meet on the fourth Thursday of alternate months (excluding January & December) at St Paul's Church hall in Victoria Avenue (opposite Harrogate library) HG1 1EG. If you are new to the district or are looking for a group with which to socialise, please come to one of our meetings. Please look at our website www.hgdover50sforum.org.uk for further information or follow us on Twitter @hgdover50sforum. We look forward to meeting you.
