Scarborough Survivors Mental Health Resource Centre, SCARBOROUGH


About

We are a mental health and wellbeing hub serving the Borough of Scarborough. 

We provide a drop-in support service in Scarborough and Whitby which has temporarily closed.  When normal services resume, we open 7 days and 5 nights. 

We offer a range of services and support to help adults aged 16 and over maintain improved mental wellbeing including:

- regular social activities

- listening ear service

- crisis cafe

- positive buddy scheme

- anti-stigma project

- dedicated youth space

- coffee bar

- volunteer opportunities

- mental health first aid training

- talks/presentations

Some of these services are based at the Resource Centre and are on hold until we are able to open in the new year.

Some services may only be suitable to a specific age range or to those who meet specific criteria. The following eligibility criteria applies to this service:
