Scarborough Survivors Mental Health Resource Centre, SCARBOROUGH
We are a community mental health and wellbeing hub serving the Borough of Scarborough.
We provide a drop-in support service in Scarborough and Whitby which has temporarily closed. When normal services resume, we open 7 days and 5 nights.
We have a telephone support service during the coronavirus outbreak. This is available 7 days and 7 nights and is covered by professional staff.
We offer a range of services and support to help adults aged 16 and over maintain improved mental wellbeing including:
- regular social activities
- listening ear service
- crisis cafe
- positive buddy scheme
- anti-stigma project
- dedicated youth space
- coffee bar
- volunteer opportunities
- mental health first aid training
