Young People's Council

North Yorkshire County Council, York

About

This is a group for young people who are being looked after by North Yorkshire Couty Council either in foster care/residential care and have left care to live independently. The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month in York from 18:00 until 20:00pm. They talk about what changes they would like to make to the support they and others receive. They meet with decision makers to tell them what care experienced young people want. The group plans Consultation days throughout the year. If you or someone you know would like to get involved, please contact Kathy Peacock.
